After more than a decade of planning weddings, here’s what I’ve learned: even the most Type-A, color-coded, checklist-loving couple deserves a little backup. Because no matter how organized you are or how many weddings you've been in, your day should feel easy, joyful, and totally you. That’s where I come in!
I began my wedding planning journey in Lake Tahoe. The views were beautiful, the logistics were complex, and I quickly fell in love with the heart of this work. Not just the planning but the people. The stories. The quiet, meaningful moments most guests never see. That’s the foundation of SSY Events. To walk alongside you. To listen well. And to offer the kind of support that lets you focus on what matters most.
But deep down, I always dreamed of one day planning weddings in my home state (OKLAHOMA!!). And as life often does, it opened a door I didn’t expect. In 2022, I moved back home, brought She Said Yes Weddings with me, and reimagined it as SSY Events. A new chapter, rooted right here in the state that means the most to me.
While I may be new to the Oklahoma wedding scene, I’m definitely not new to planning weddings. With years of experience, hundreds of timelines, and countless love stories behind me, I’m here to make sure your wedding day feels as beautiful and seamless as it should.
